Bad Signature: Embedded Attachments
This signature uses embedded images to display. The good part of this method is that the images usually just appear in the email without having to click to show images. The bad part of this method is the hideous mess of attachments on every email, not to mention the increased likelihood that the recipient doesn’t notice that you’ve attached a very important file.
Good Signature: Referenced URLs
The best way to have a signature nowadays, in my humble opinion, is to host your signature images on the internet and then reference those image URLs in your signature. The downside is that your recipients will have to click to display your images, but as long as you have the important parts of your signature in text format, this shouldn’t be a big deal.
