Buffering & Kodi 18 installation

Question

Hi,

I use Kodi 17.6 with MiniX U9H Android Box with IP Vanish and Real Debrid. I believe the box is Marshmallow 6!

My 1st query - my streams buffer a great deal and I am unsure why as the set up clears the cache on start up.

My 2nd query is that i am unable to update Kodi to 18. I download the installer file and install but the installation always fails unfortunately.

1) Buffering could have many causes.

How fast is your internet?  How fast when connected to IPVanish?  If it's a big difference, try this...

2) I wouldn't worry about trying to update to Kodi 18 just yet.  If you have it installed via the Google Play Store, then I would just wait for it to be released and updated by that.  If you installed Kodi manually without Google Play Store (or don't have it), and you still want to update to Kodi 18, check which version of the file you downloaded.  There are multiple architectures available for Android apps.  You need to make sure you install the one that matches the architecture of your box.
