Try and start from scratch. Basic Kodi with your skin , all the settings and your basic program add ons (such as super favorites , upnext, etc) you need to have kodi running.
Then you save a backup as a master image you could go back to if things go south. Then try installing the video add on you need and see how it works. If OK , you might want to save it as a backup (another snapshot as a point you could go back to)
