      After installing as per your directions, I ran into a “failed to update” when I ran the update for http://tinyurl.com/openmetaplayers.
      I was online behind a vpn
      I have done a hrad reboot of my Nvidia Shield but get the same message.
      How can I update?

      No I did not figure it out, however OpenMeda seems to be working ok.
      Weird?
