Hi, Hope you can help. I am buying a Townhouse in N.C., ZIP 28205, and will ONLY USE it for short periods at a time. Example: 30 days over Christmas, then 60 days June/July, and possible 30 days in Fall of year. Would like to have TV and Internet access while there, BUT NOT enter into long term monthly/yearly contracts.
Basic TV networks would suffice such as ABC, NBC, CBS etc. Not bothered about Movies, Box Sets, Music ESPN etc..
    ANY SUGGESTIONS?? MOST APPRECIATED

You could try using IPTV of the many add ons.
Combine this with super favorites to create your own menus. Creating your own lists from multiple add ons will eliminate jumping from one add on to the other.
I have noticed that he IPTV of the add ons do require some work as links go down, add ons get eliminated etc.
You might want to set up a test machine and see how it works.

Harris, I see your question might be more about the internet access than the TV programming. If I were you, I would just use my phone’s wifi hotspot and have a Kodi box or stick that just connects to that. Of course, you’ll need to have an unlimited data plan, and nobody else could watch TV if you leave the house with your phone. But, it’s an option.
