The SMTP setting found in the Joomla Global Configuration should be set to the above (of course replacing emails with your own). The key is to use relay-hosting.secureserver.net as the SMTP server when the email is hosted at GoDaddy.
I can’t get my mail settings to work with Joomla 3 on a GoDaddy hosted site. I have done extensive research on this, tried all sorts of things, but still it does not work. I have a form set up in Components -> Contacts and have a Menu Item set up for the Contact Form. I changed the Mail settings in Global Configuration, used my GoDaddy email address and password, changed the SMTP host to what you have shown here, but still it does not send an email. I took the page down because it wasn’t working. So sad.
