You don’t need the Kinect to watch Kodi on your FireStick through your Xbox One.  The only thing it gives you is the ability to control Kodi playback using Xbox commands, but honestly, it’s not really worth the effort it takes to fine tune it.  Just use a Kodi remote app on your phone or a Harmony remote, and you’re good.
