Answer for KODI Technical Questions

I’m not 100% sure what happens if you change from a downloaded APK version of Kodi to the Google Play installed version.  I don’t know if it keeps settings or not.
But, based on your other questions, I suggest you completely delete Kodi and install Kodi fresh using Google Play Store.  It sounds like you need a fresh install because you shouldn’t be getting a 13 second video popup like you mentioned.
However, I’m not a big user of Phoenix or Specto.  I primarily use Exodus.
