Answer for iptv-and-xbox-one-guide

Nvidia Shield runs Android.  My tutorial was for integrating it with a Windows PC that runs Kodi.  The reason why that works is because Xbox One lets you specify Windows Media Center PC as your cable box.  This makes it so the Xbox sends commands to the PC that the PC recognizes.
 
I’m not sure how much more difficult it would be to do this using Android.  Plus, I think EventGhost is only for Windows so it wouldn’t work on Android anyway.  Correct me if I’m wrong.
