There are some add-ons that utilize torrents for video streams. Gaia does that.

Also, an add-on called Plexus has been around for a while and other add-ons used Plexus to provide access to torrent streams. However, I haven’t had much experience with those.

One thing about using torrents is that it is very likely that you will get a letter from your ISP because they have very good detection of torrent activity. But, fortunately for you, you use a VPN which will prevent that. Just thought I would mention it for others.
