Sounds like your FireStick is old and didn’t get any updates. I imagine your Kodi version is also old, and that will cause problems because most of the add-ons now require version 17 Krypton.

Yes, you can install Kodi on a computer, however, please be aware that the Colossus repo has been deleted recently and so you can’t get Covenant (until another source pops up somewhere).
