Xbox One controls HTPC instead of set top box???

Hi! I'm Chef! creator of the Vera Lite Plugin for Emby! Boy! our Home Theater set ups are almost identical. I use the Emby API to control my home automation Z-wave devices (Vera Lite/Vera  HTTP API). Dimming lights when I start movie through my Xbox One's DLNA profile with Emby from my Android Tablet... Yeah Pretty cool! I also piggy back on Embys Device Discovery to turn lights on and off when my Xbox turns on and off. Turn off the Xbox = Turn off the lights. Makes life simple! More info can be found here: www.emby.media  But how did you tell the Xbox One to forget about a Cable Set Top Box, and send HTPC commands instead?

Nice looking product!  To answer your question, I configured my Xbox One to think that my set top box is a Windows Media Center PC.  It's all in my tutorial.
