I’m so confused. Your system time gets reset? How does unplugging it make it better? If shutting it down resets your time, then it seems unplugging it would do the same thing. Also, what does it have to do with resetting in TV?
I don’t know why unplugging the TV and box works but it does. Every time I shut the box and restart it, the time is changed. If I u plug the stuff and restart it without resetting the time on the TV, it gives me the wrong time. I have no idea what’s going on.
All computers or devices that keep time have a small clock battery in it. The purpose of that is so the device keeps time even when unplugged. It sounds like your device’s clock battery is dead which is why it loses track of the time each time it’s shut off or unplugged.
