Setting Paths for External Download and Copyng Internal Files to External Drive

Question

Have tried to set up both Internal and External Download Paths without much success. Have managed to set up a working internal path but the external path just doesen't work for either copying/ transferring internal files or downloading directly to the external drive.
Have set up my own process for this and would like to send it to you for input but there is no way I can attach the file. Also tried Gif and Jpeg but would not accept.
Hope you can Help.  Please remember, Im pretty dumb when it comes to this sort of thing. got heaps to learn'

Like I mentioned in the other forum post, you can email me your notes/process and I'll take a look.

Random thought... if you're trying to set up a process where you are downloading a bunch of videos to an external hard drive, the download feature in Kodi might not be the best setup for you.
