      I have family videos and pictures on an external hard drive with usb in my nighthawk router. I can see the files (readyshare)through VLC media app. However I want to use Kodi. In the past I used SMB workgroup . I understand it is no longer available . How can I network KODI to the router (readyshare)?

      Hi Ron, I think what you’re looking for is UPnP. Here are instruction on how to add the DLNA media source from your network share into your Kodi library using UPnP. https://kodi.wiki/view/UPnP/Media_source
