My Firestick sleep problem

hello,  I have a Panasonic TV with alarms in my bed room,  recently My cable TV provider has gone to streaming though fire stick from a APP  (allwest.TV) here in Wyoming. the problem I have is the alarm work going though the HDMI port, but the firestick is always at the home page when the TV turns.  I thought when I put the sleep timer at zero using the ADB link the allwest tv app would still be steaming. but it some how come up to the home page  and I have to  select the allwest APP.  the home page does not have any sound and won't wake me up.  any help??  another free APP that will stay on?

Make sure you don't use the power button on the Fire Stick remote.  That will put the Fire Stick to sleep which brings it back to the home screen.  The solution should be to just turn off the TV yourself if the Fire Stick is plugged into an AV receiver, or you'd have to leave the TV on if the Fire Stick is plugged into the TV.
