Kodi will not install

Question

1. I am Windows System 7. Kodi will not install because it can't see Service Pack #1.

2.   Error Message -  Could not retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected. Would you like to add it anyway.

I'm confused.

1. Kodi will not install on your Windows 7 PC because it doesn't have service pack 1?  Then run Windows Update until it says all up to date.

2. That looks like an error message that you would see within Kodi when you are adding a File Source in the File Manager.  I thought you said you couldn't install Kodi.
