Guest::I have a couple of questions:
- When I go to Google Play Store to upgrade my Kodi to version 17 – I am not sure which one I should be using and when I do this will I lose all of the addons such as Phoenix, Specto that are already loaded.
- When I did try to download the next version – it keeps telling me that there was a parse error – and I have tried several times – what is this and what I am doing wrong?
- On several streams that I select – if it has the word video or specially video.me – a 13 second video pops up and a message instead of the program. How can I get rid of this? Will an upgrade do it or do I need to wipe my entire kodi android box
I hope you can help me – I have tried with you tube and followed the steps but continue to get these problems.
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Keymaster::I’m not 100% sure what happens if you change from a downloaded APK version of Kodi to the Google Play installed version. I don’t know if it keeps settings or not.
But, based on your other questions, I suggest you completely delete Kodi and install Kodi fresh using Google Play Store. It sounds like you need a fresh install because you shouldn’t be getting a 13 second video popup like you mentioned.
However, I’m not a big user of Phoenix or Specto. I primarily use Exodus.
