ipvanish and kodi

      Hi-just to clarify-I am a complete novice!
      I have ipvanish on my windows PC connected to a SKY Q router
      I have a MXQ set top box with Kodi in my living room hard wired from the router.
      If I connect to IPvanish on the PC is this protecting my activity on the set top box or do I have to download the IPvanish app from google play to KODI and actually activate it on the set top box?
      I hope this makes sense!

      IPVanish on your Windows PC does not affect your MXQ box.

      You have to download the IPVanish app from Google Play on the MXQ box and connect that.
