Problem Streaming Linked Streams (Gensis) via DLNA

      I have no problem watching movies on the Smart PVR when using Windows 7 as the DLNA server and Smart PVR as the client. I wish to stream movies from Kodi on my W7 computer to the client Panasonic Smart PVR. Kodi plays without a Problem on W7. Kodi shows uo on the Smart PVR as a DLNA client, all folders can be accessed, but when a movie is selected it states "Can not play. The files in the folders are linked streams.  I would appreciate some advise on this issue.

      When using DLNA, the file that’s being shared has to actually be the media file to display.  If you are sharing stream files (like from Genesis), the DLNA player will not be able to play it since it is only a reference to a video that can only be played via the Genesis add-on.
