I have the Exact same problem. I don’t understand how the person that responded to your question could not understand you’re question. In Theatre only has trailers. Did you get the issue resolved? If so, how?

Easy way to fix it is by actually busting a nut on the home button 3 times within 15 minutes then when it drys the movies play!

The guy that was being insulting actually was entering it correctly just ignore the dumb part about it if you click the center button three times it will play the movie and not the trailer

I’m having the same issue. When are you supposed to hit the center button? I’ve tried it at various points to no success.

If you think you’re being blocked by the authorities, have you tried a VPN to see if that gets you through?

I think it would be helpful for you all to understand how these Kodi add-ons work.

Add-ons like Covenant and many others are simply scrapers and indexers of free videos found on the internet.

They use publicly accessible APIs to access databases of movies and TV shows, seasons, episode titles, descriptions, etc… that’s the info scraping side of it.

Then, when you choose something to watch, it searches through a bunch of known providers of free streaming videos on the internet. It gives you all the video sources it found and then you play them.

When a popular TV show episode airs, some people out there (who host these streaming website), capture the video and upload the video file onto their server for people (and Kodi add-ons) to find and watch.

However, when a movie comes out in the theaters, there is no way for these streaming site owners to get a hold of the video. They could go into a theater with a camcorder, and that’s how you end up with those horrible quality CAM sources.

But, without access to capture a full quality video, these people have to wait until the movie comes out on DVD or Blu-Ray. That’s the only way they can get it. You will see any popular movie that has been out long enough to be DVD or Blu-Ray, will be available to stream in Kodi add-ons like this.

That’s why going into the “In Theaters” folder in Kodi streaming add-ons is pretty pointless. You’re going to have a much harder time trying to watch brand new movies on Kodi, then if you watched slightly older movies.

The only exception to this is when a video file of a movie gets leaked while it’s still in theaters. If there was a leak and the video file got out into the wild, then you’ll probably be able to watch it.

So, in summary, don’t expect to be able to watch brand new movies in Kodi. Keep an eye on which movies recently came out on DVD and Blu-Ray.

I hope this explanation was helpful.

I also suggest you use Real-Debrid because it drastically increases the quality of the streams available, not just in bandwidth, but also in accuracy.
