Guest::Great article on merging the strms from addons into the library. Thank you for writing it. My HTPC set up is built with multiple Raspberry Pi’s running Kodi that share a common library through MySQL. I am interested in how I can accomplish merging the streams from more than one addon (ie both Genesis and SALTS) with the rather large amount of content that I have on separte NAS drives (1 for movies and 1 for TV) and while also putting the strm files on those NAS drives instead of the on the Raspberry Pi itself. The reason I want to put the strm files on the NAS drives is because I tested your article and the strms immediately filled up the SD card on the Raspberry Pi and I had buffering problems. My question is how should I set up the folders for the strm files? Do they have to be seperated by the sources addon (ie. plugin.video.genesis > TV Showsource) or can I just put all of the strms from all of the different addons in one folder (ie. TV Showsource)? Do I have flexibility on how to name the folder(s) or is there a specific format you recommend that I follow? Will putting all the strms in one folder confuse the individual addons and cause me problems with playback?

Keymaster::You may want to check out this most https://kinkeadtech.com/2015/09/add-shows-to-kodi-genesis-from-any-htpc-in-the-house/ which answers your question about changing the location of the Genesis stream library files. This would allow you to select a NAS location.
Regarding merging separate plugin sources with your stored media files, Kodi just has you add all those as separate video sources, and they get merged automatically in the library. However, I’ve seen it happen before where each episode in a show is duplicated. -

Guest::Could you be a little more specific about the folder structure and how to set it up across multiple NAS drives? I have a separate NAS drive for my Movies and one for my TV shows. My Movie library is shared as my as my Y:\ drive and my TV library is shared as X:\.
1- First question, can I point point Genisis to different drives like this?
Y:\ addon_data\plugin.video.genesis\TVShows or X:\addon_data\plugin.video.genesis\Movies
2- Second, does the folder structure have to be exactly like plugin.video.genesis\TVShows like you show it or can I set up my folders simply like?
Y:\TVStreams\TVShows or X:\MovieStreams\Movies
Thanks
