Guest::Wife is a one-remote kind of person, currently using the cable companies URC2125B0 remote. We have a Denon X3000 AV receiver, cable box, blueray player and Firestick, all feeding into an LG tv via the Denon amp.
I can run everything because I know which remote to pick up and use to switch the video source on the AV receiver, but wife doesn’t. If I leave anything in the ‘wrong position’ she’s lost.
Is my only option to get into a Harmony system?
Thanks! -

Keymaster::Logitech Harmony is absolutely the best way to go. It’s not very expensive either. https://amzn.to/3079VGY
There are also some refurbished (aka renewed) ones available for even cheaper.

Guest::I have recently switched to the Harmony Ultimate One remote.
It has been the best decision !
You can program any device , and it can even learn commands from other remotes.
I have even hooked up an HDMI switch for 3 devices (as my TV is a little older and only has one HDMI outlet) and was able to program a workflow when and what device to power up , preset a channel etc.
You can even program favorite channels to your Harmony which you will have on your home screen.
This is a great feature for my wife , as she doesn’t like searching through channels etc.
So all in all great device !
