I’ve found and used Google Music add-ons in the past. They were often buggy and couldn’t get them to work well. They might be a lot better now, but I also realized during that process that Google Music on Kodi is really not the best experience. Now, I have a Google Home, and some Chromecast Audio devices, and they support multi-room simultaneous playback. We listen to Google Music so much more since we got the Google Home because it’s so easy to just ask Google to play the music that you want.
Regarding your other question, no, it’s not possible to install a VPN on an old FireStick. However, you could get a flash router to use the VPN for your whole house.
