is it possible using gbox with kodi, to utilize data drive D: for streaming opposed to local disc C: (full) to reduce buffering issues?
I’m not familiar with G Box, but I doubt that utilizing a separate disk or partition will help with buffering issues. Buffer is usually caused by Internet bandwidth either at your end or at the server’s end.
