Fire Stick/ Kodi shutting down

Question

I’m not sure if it’s the Fire Stick or Kodi, but my Firestick just randomly shuts down, and goes to the home screen. At first I thought maybe it was the hdmi on the tv. But we switched hdmi inputs and it still did it. Thought maybe it was the tv, so we switched tv’s, and it still did it. Although Kodi is what we use most often, the one time it did this on the other tv, we were watching nhl tv. So I don’t think it is a Kodi issue. I was just wondering if there is anyone else who might be experiencing this. It doesn’t happen all of the time, but when it does, it is very aggravating, because it will then happen over and over while we are searching for something to watch.

It sounds like you're saying the Kodi app keeps crashing and going back to the Fire Stick's home screen.  It's probably happening from some old rogue add-on that is crashing Kodi.  I suggest cleaning out as many old repos and add-ons as possible.  Or, you can do a clean wipe using the Indigo add-on.
