I’ve installed Kodi on my windows PC, and set up the uPNP properly so that my xbox one can see my library. The library consists of files from a server on genesis. I find the server name in my media player on xbox one, and then navigate to the movies library. When I go to play the movies on my xbox one, I get a “Cannot play” error. It further goes to say that it doesn’t support this file format. Is there a way around this? Does the xbox one only play files that are physically on my local computer and not server files on genesis?
